An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

There has been an obvious pricing or description error.
Payment cannot be authorised.
We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
We cannot deliver to the address provided.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the appropriate amount to your original payment method.

4. Made-to-Order Hair

Certain KOLANI hair products are made to order.

This means your hair may be prepared or produced specifically after your order has been placed rather than being immediately available for dispatch.

Estimated production and delivery times are displayed on our website and/or at checkout.

Our standard estimated delivery timeframe for made-to-order hair within the UK is 7–14 days.

Please review the applicable delivery information before completing your purchase.

5. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, textures, specifications and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

However, there may be natural variations between products.

In particular, human hair is a natural product. Minor differences in colour, curl pattern, texture, density and appearance may occur between individual pieces or batches and do not necessarily indicate a fault.

The appearance of colours may also vary depending on your screen, device and display settings.

Measurements and other specifications shown on our website should be treated as approximate unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. Prices & Payment

All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on our website.

Applicable taxes will be handled and displayed as required.

Delivery charges and any additional costs payable to KOLANI will be shown before you complete your order.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.

Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.

If you use a third-party payment or Buy Now, Pay Later provider, your use of that service may also be subject to the provider's own terms and conditions.

7. Pricing Errors

We try to ensure our prices are correct, but mistakes can occasionally happen.

If an obvious pricing error occurs, we are not obliged to supply a product at an incorrect price where the error should reasonably have been apparent.

If we discover an error after you place an order, we'll contact you where appropriate and give you the opportunity to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order.

Delivery estimates depend on the product and destination.

Our current estimated delivery times include:

UK made-to-order hair: 7–14 days
UK tools & accessories: typically 3–5 working days
Europe: 7–21 days
North America: 7–21 days
Australia & New Zealand: 7–21 days
Rest of the World: 14–30 days

Next Day Delivery is available on selected items and will be shown at checkout where applicable.

The most accurate delivery options and estimates available for your order will be displayed at checkout.

Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.

9. International Orders

International orders may be subject to customs procedures, import duties, taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country.

Where these aren't collected by us at checkout, you may be responsible for paying them.

KOLANI does not control charges imposed independently by customs authorities.

International customers are responsible for ensuring that the products they order can lawfully be imported into their destination country.

10. Delivery Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information when placing your order.

If you notice an error, please contact us as quickly as possible.

We'll try to help where we can, but we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has entered processing or been dispatched.

11. Returns & Refunds

Eligible products may be returned within 28 days of receipt, subject to our return conditions and your statutory rights.

Hair extensions returned as a change of mind must remain in an eligible condition, including retaining applicable tags, ties, seals and packaging and not having been worn, installed, washed, coloured, cut, chemically treated or otherwise materially altered.

Different conditions may apply to tools and accessories.

Nothing in our returns policy or these Terms limits your legal rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to conform to applicable consumer law.

KOLANI Content

12. Hair Advice & Educational Content

KOLANI may provide hair-care information, tutorials, guides, product recommendations, styling advice and other educational content.

This information is provided for general educational and informational purposes.

Hair varies considerably from person to person, and results from products, styling techniques and routines can vary.

You are responsible for considering whether a particular technique or product is appropriate for your own hair and circumstances.

Where appropriate, always follow product instructions and seek qualified professional advice before undertaking chemical treatments or other processes that may damage your hair or scalp.

13. Club KOLANI & Premium Content

Certain tutorials, guides, videos or other educational materials may only be available to Club KOLANI members or paying customers.

Any price, billing period, free trial, introductory offer or access period applicable to Club KOLANI will be clearly displayed before you subscribe or purchase access.

Additional membership terms may apply and will be shown when you join.

If a free trial converts into a paid subscription, the applicable price, timing and cancellation arrangements will be clearly communicated before you sign up.

14. Intellectual Property

The KOLANI website and its contents are owned by or licensed to KOLANI and are protected by intellectual property laws.

This includes, where applicable:

The KOLANI name and branding.
Logos and visual identity.
Product photography.
Videos.
Tutorials and educational materials.
Written guides and articles.
Graphics and illustrations.
Website design and layouts.
Product descriptions.
Original photographs and other creative content.

You may access this content for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, commercially exploit or create derivative works from KOLANI content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

15. Premium Guides & Tutorials

Access to paid KOLANI educational content is provided for the individual customer's personal use.

Unless we expressly permit otherwise, you must not:

Record or reproduce premium videos.
Copy or republish paid guides.
Share paid downloads or materials with others.
Share membership credentials to provide access to another person.
Upload KOLANI premium content to social media, video platforms, file-sharing services or other websites.
Resell, teach from or commercially exploit our paid educational material without permission.

We reserve the right to restrict access where we reasonably believe premium content is being unlawfully copied, distributed or shared.

This section is particularly important for your Club KOLANI idea. If you're investing time and money into creating genuinely useful material, I'd absolutely have explicit protection for it in the Terms.

Accounts & Community

16. Customer Accounts

If you create a KOLANI account, you are responsible for keeping your login information secure.

Please contact us if you believe somebody has gained unauthorised access to your account.

We may suspend or close accounts that are used fraudulently, unlawfully or in serious breach of these Terms.

17. Reviews & Customer Content

If you submit a review, photograph, comment or other content to KOLANI, you confirm that:

The content is your own or you have permission to submit it.
It is truthful to the best of your knowledge.
It does not infringe another person's rights.
It is not unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory or otherwise prohibited by law.

We may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary, but we will not remove legitimate criticism simply because it is negative.

Where you give us separate permission to use your photographs, videos or other content for marketing, the terms of that permission will apply.

Promotions

18. Discount Codes & Promotions

Discount codes and promotional offers may be subject to additional conditions, including:

Expiry dates.
Minimum order values.
Eligible products.
Customer eligibility.
Limits on the number of uses.

Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be combined.

We may withdraw or correct a promotion where there has been an obvious error, fraud, misuse or circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

We do not exclude or restrict any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

These may include significant courier disruption, severe weather, natural disasters, industrial action, failures of telecommunications networks, governmental action or other exceptional events.
